Aid: Foto Institute of Haiti
The Foto Institute (photo in creole) is a photography division of Haiti's Cine Institute, the nation's film school. Like Cine, Foto Institute provides talented Haitian youth with the latest technology and training to serve the nation's photographic needs across advertising, education, entertainment, development, journalism and fine art sectors. Graduates are provided jobs through the Institute's employment division which provides access to equipment, studio space and clients who require photographic services.
Foto Institute will be launched September 2012. We need your support. We are currently sourcing for funding and material donations from professional photographers, agencies, universitites, patrons of the arts, imaging, technology and production companies ( i.e Canon, Apple etc.) events, exhibits, publications and merchandising.
